Roatan Island is the largest and most popular of the beautiful Bay Islands which are located about 40 miles North of Honduras in the Western Caribbean. Numerous cays and two other islands, Utila and Guanaja are also a part of the Bay Islands. Roatan is surrounded by a vibrant living reef which is a part of the large Meso-American Barrier Reef, the second longest reef on earth.
